The omni channel pilot was launched in the Ancaster, Ontario store. Walmart wanted to pilot and promote maternity apparel in store and also drive awareness of online maternity on walmart.ca
The ipad concepts were designed to introduce and drive awareness of the different maternity assortment on walmart.ca right in the store. If browsing peaked their interest, they are able to ‘Add to cart’ and the app would create a QR code. The QR code when scanned would populate the items they added on the app directly to their app to purchase.
This pilot was a great opportunity for customers to explore what walmart.ca had to offer in apparel.
